Spring Cleaning

How was your Saturday? My day started with a practice from yogadownload.  Today was Yoga for buns. Then I spent most of  the day Spring cleaning.  There is nothing better than a top to bottom clean house.  It just gives me an oh so happy feeling.  I know, strange, right? Funny, how we schedule time to clean our houses but what about taking inventory of our bodies to clean up our health and fitness needs too?  I know I have some cobwebs and dust bunnies lurking around upsetting the balance of optimal health.  When is the last time you did a little spring cleaning on your health?    Noah and Schotzie wondering why there was so much fuss about a clean house.  Oh, but they are not complaining or they would be in the, dare I say it, dog … Read entire article »

Hope you are enjoying your Saturday! It’s been 2 days since my fall, Road Rash, and yes the body is healing.  I will be taking on the road again for a 10 mile training run tomorrow morning.  Hopefully I can keep it on 2 feet.     Today, thanks to Angela at Oh She Glows, one of my favorite daily reads and the inspiration to my own blog, I ate Quinoa for breakfast. PB, J, & B Breakfast Quinoa 1/3 cup quinoa 2/3 cup + 2 tablespoons almond milk 1 mashed, ripe banana 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract pinch of cinnamon (optional) pinch of sea salt (optional) Directions: Stir together above ingredients and bring to a boil.
