Three days ago I turned, gulp, 40 years old. Very hard to believe that another decade has passed. Funny thing is I had an extremely difficult time turning 30, but I am honestly embracing the 40. Dark Day of Winter

Our New England weather as been mild to say the least. Until Friday that is. We got about an inch on Friday, but it had stopped before my morning run leaving me a nice snow cushioned path. Saturday, however we were hit with our first real snow storm of the season. I believe it was around 5-7 inches by the time it finally stopped. Unfortunately I got a late start for my run and it was just beginning to snow when I left. By the time I got back the streets were covered and it was coming down at a furious rate. Last Minute Race (Half Marathon #12)

Friday night I decided that I was going to run the Eident Sports Half Marathon which was being held today. I headed into Providence yesterday morning to sign up and pick up my bib. Call Me Overjoyed

The other day I mentioned that I was running another half marathon this weekend and how it was my nemesis, but yesterday Evan pointed out that this race was actually my white whale. Nemesis Course

This Sunday I am running the New Bedford Half Marathon for the 4th time. It’s a challenging course with a large hill between miles 2-3, wind issues and temperature drop around the beaches between miles 7-10 and then a very long steady climb right through the last few miles. Race Madness

A few weeks ago I had penciled in a few races that I wanted to run and now I have inked 5 races into the calendar. It’s official I am running the following races: Hyannis Half Marathon Black Cat 10 Miler St. Pat’s 5K New Bedford Half Marathon National Half Marathon What’s crazy about this is that these races take place between 2/27 and 3/26.
