Running The Word Race: Freedom
….the Word of God is alive and powerful….. While running the closest thing to freedom you can receive is the runner’s high. It is that moment of release or awakening that as a runner you may not experience with every run but keeps you logging miles. For me it typically happens after I have pushed through a hard workout. I’ve just about reached the limit of “that’s all I’ve got” and then it strikes. Starting at the top of my head traveling straight through my body like electricity. It is a renewing of the body. Running The Word Race: Light
….the Word of God is alive and powerful….. One of my favorite times to run is when darkness gives way to the light of the new day. As an early morning runner living in New England I can experience this more often when the clock springs ahead an hour with daylight savings time. There is something so powerful about taking in the start of a new day during the physical act of running. Absorbing the light at the beginning carries me through the day of working in an office setting for eight hours.
