A Pip & Myrrh Adventure: Newport Part 2

A Pip & Myrrh Adventure: Newport Part 2

Another run in Newport RI for the dynamic duo of Pip and Myrrh (that’s me) is completed.  Two sisters in Christ decide to take a fellowship run along Ocean Drive and Bellevue Avenue.  Our first run keep us more in the city and harbor, so we thought taking it to the most known streets of Newport would be a good change. We parked over at Brenton Point State Park which provided the perfect spot for post … Read entire article »

Accountability

Accountability

ac·count·a·ble (-kount-bl) adj. 1. Liable to being called to account; answerable. See Synonyms at responsible.  2. That can be explained: an accountable phenomenon. It has now been over a month since I ran my last marathon and I am in much need of accountability.  I know that some may find accountability scary, but it motivates me.  When things get tough and my lazy self wants to take control knowing that I have committed to a challenge … Read entire article »

Finding Peace In A Perfect Plan

Finding Peace In A Perfect Plan

I believe God is always with me.  Even in my running.  Sometimes I do not feel Him close to me, but that is not because He has changed.  No, it is because I have moved away from Him.  Whether intentionally or unintentionally, it really doesn’t matter. Half Way There

Half Way There

Completing week 9 out of an 18 week training schedule has me half way to Hopkinton.  Eek! Of course I would be lying if I said I was not going to be nervous come race day, but overall I am feeling good about everything at the moment. I’ve been keeping up with both Chiropractic and PT to keep things moving the way they are suppose to. I’ve been sticking to my clean diet of wholesome food to … Read entire article »
