What Comes Next

In 4 days I will be running another half marathon. It will be my 4th half marathon this year. But this race is still special because it completes my 2010 Running Goals. With that being a happy day indeed, it leaves me with a big fat “?”!

So, what comes next?

I met with my Health Coach yesterday and was pleasantly surprised that the scale was good to me over the last month showing I was 2 pounds down. Yesterday’s session meant that I have been working with Coach Greg for 1 year.  It’s a Wellness Anniversary!

Over the past year we set mini goals along the way in addition to my major goal of losing weight. I am happy to say in the past year I lost 14 pounds, just 1 pound shy of my goal but I am thrilled with the results. During those month the mini goals helped keep me on track and varied from proper hydration to adding strength training to my weekly workouts.  Each month I learned something new especially the importance of eating as an athlete.

Athlete? I still find it funny to be considered an athlete, but I guess I have adopted the new title given to me by both my health coach and chiropractor and honestly I am a little proud of it.  What is your favorite title, either given by yourself or others?

Now I am ready for a new challenge, but I will have to ponder this for a while.

Don’t forget about the Giveaway. There is still time enter and spread the word.
